This was the first profile website that I had created via WordPress and Siteground host services. From writing HMTL and CSS scripts, to template and content design, the purpose of this profile site was to showcase some of my work, engage converasation though my blog, as well as seeking donations for an initiative that I've been working on in my home community to help inner city youth have the necessary resources in order to succeed later on in their academic and professional lives respectively. This was the precursor for my development of my current site today.
CSA Final Project Site
This was my final project site, created with a focus on the promotion and engagement of the Caribbean Students Association, not only at RIT, but in the neighboring communities and beyond. The goal was to ultimately give people and opportunity to see what we do, while being able to reach out to those who may not know what CSA is all about. On the site you'll see information on the club, the personnel that represent the e-board for club, archived media from events that occurred in previous years, as well as contact information and forms to take donations for future events and projects for the club. Here's a closer look at what the site entailed via YouTube.
Final Project Launch Flyer
Before completing my final website project for my Building a Web Business class, I had to create a launch flyer for the opening of the site. Using Photoshop, I took the logo for our club and put together this flyer for the launch of the site.
Brand Logo & Favicon
The next step in creating my enhanced profile website for the class was to create a logo and favicon that represented my personal brand. Over the course of the two week deadline, there were a ton of different drafts that I had created and thought of using, but these were the final mock-ups of what I ended up going with, going with a simple and clean-cut concept.
Roux Academy Site
This project was a example website for a company that offers different programs for artistic projects and ventures called Roux Academy. The assignment was to mock up a draft of a website that displayed important information on what they do, programs they offer, and their contact information for any inquiries.
Personal HTML Site
One of my very first projects in my Building a Web Business course was to create my own site using solely HTML. The site had to include pages that entailed fun facts about me, my education, work experience and contact information. These pages also had to flow seamlessly from one to another, with an index or menu page bridging each accordingly.
